...and today it looks even better, the "plastic orange" colour is gone for a more traditional awesome red colour, 3 votes GVGjr, makes it even more of an enjoyable experience! it's nice to have the phone app although prior i had my own shortcut app for woof by adding the home page or new posts page to your home screen, which can be done with any site on your phone as a shortcut.

I am having trouble with the unread posts function however. I’m not getting the option you pointed out GVGjr. I’m on iPad, perhaps this is the reason?

No surprises. There are always teething issues when a change of some sort happens but will begin to get used to it. Did you manage to address the issues with the reactions in terms of knowing who the reactions a from. Great now in that weave multiple reactions. The private messenging worked well for me.

Some things will take us time to get used to but the new look is very clean.

Okay, there are a couple of options to get this fixed.
First one is to go to the Mark Channels read option which will rest everything for you allowing to you start afresh.

From that point when you go to the forums and you will see where there are unread contributions.
If you click on the Unread buttons that will take you to the board where there are Unread posts

This will bring you to the Unleashed board (in this instance) and show you all the threads with posts you haven't read
If you click onto the down arrow it will take you to the last unread post for you. If you click the button on the far right
it will take you to the last post within that thread.

I'm confused with the new topics section though. It doesn't show the latest posts. This thread isn't coming up as an example and it has the latest posts.

Also the latest activity section doesn't have the latest posts. It's dates are all over the place.

That's the only thing that's really bugging me. Is it just me that this is happening to?

When you log in on to your phone and assuming you have logged into the Forums area the is a drop down option giving you the choice between Forums / Latest Activity
If you are using forums you can scroll down to see the various boards you would previously use plus you will see an Unread badge that is highlighting to you which forums have had content that you haven't read.
If you click onto that it will take you to that board where you will see a bolded blue arrow symbol that highlights which threads contains new content for you.
Clicking that arrow will take you to your first unread post in that thread and you can scroll through from there.
You can also check any thread that has that bolded blue arrow and it will again take you to the first unread post for you.

The Latest Activity option allows you to see the most recent contributions to discussions giving you the option to read a bit of a summary and go directly to the post displayed and see the expanded post.
You can join in the discussion or move to the next one
You can also scroll through whatever posts you want to read.

Hope that helps, it's going to take a little while but we will all become a bit more proficient in a few days time.

Like the new format. Thank you for your efforts and all the feed back from Woofers sorting things out. I am already enjoying myself with the new feedback options. Probably using them inappropriately. But fun nonetheless.

Regarding new topics, when I go to that filter it doesn't show that there were, for example this morning, 2 new posts in this thread. It was showing last post at 9.55pm which wasn't the latest post.

In the latest activity section, its showing posts from days ago as the most recent. Could it just be am issue I'm seeing?

Hi all, hopefully you are all getting a bit more comfortable with navigating around the forum.

One of the request I had from Squirrel Grip was if it was possible to have the Hyde Streets Band And Sports Bar boards removed for him and the answer is yes.
I can set-up a usergroup with a limited or reduced access to what you would normally see on WOOF.
I'll have a look doing something like that for Squirrel Grip over the weekend.
If anyone would prefer that option as well please send me a private message or ask for it on this thread.
It's a bit more complicated (but still an option) to isolate specific Footy boards as they are all under one board or channel.

I've got a list of things people suggested since the migration from old to new so I'll keep chipping away at it.
Feel free to share your thoughts and to see if we can find a better solution for you.
I realise that for some people this has been a big change so I might try and set-up a word document with some how to tips and screen shots that can be shared.
