Welcome aboard. Loved DD when I was growing up. I lived near the corner of Argyle st on Barkley and went to West Footscray Primary for a couple of years.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

He had to defend a lot in those days. Never let us down though!

You were a bit closer to the ground than I. Did five years at your Alma Mater. 'Footscray West is the best' was our very imaginative chant in the day. Wanted to go on to Totty Tech. but parents had other plans.

Take it from a slow starter that its well worth joining into the discussions. The draft and list management discussions in Oct and Nov and now the preseason since December have been enormous.

Gee WOOF has had a big off season. Plenty of new draftees, have we had any notable delistings or have some of us been traded out to Big Footy without our knowledge?

There is always a few stars that drop off from time to time but to balance things out we've also had a few returning members come back plus a nice influx of new members. The recruiting drive started back in when we were discussing the trade and draft periods but has accelerated with the preseason training discussions.

Is that a way of saying we did not trade our first round picks to get these new members? And instead relied on clever point swaps, rookie upgrades and added some VFL listed players to the senior list?
