Have heaps of potential to go upwards, all the kids will have a year travelling under there belt, it is the hardest thing for a WA club to travel every 2 weeks really takes it out of you, its proven that they struggle playing over east because of all the travel
But saying all that I think we will be just above them

Whilst I think they will have a better year, particularly with the younger players having a season behind them, I don't see them improving on fifth. Their passage to goal is still very one dimensional (through Pavlich's hands) and until they modify their game plan, fifth it is.

It was interesting to see that Wallace thinks their premiership window is closing quickly ... I disagree. I think theirs is just opening; a tweak of their game plan and some more match fitness in their younger brigade will see them as a force in two years.

        They have a few issues.

        Morabito is OUT.
Barlow and Ballantyne wont play for a few weeks.
Anthony is what we all thought he was.
Mundy and Hill have hardly trained.
        Fyfe has hardly trained.
The backup ruck is a mess (Bradley, Griffen (sorry about spelling) and Clarke).
Key backs are a real worry - McPharlin good...not much beyond that with Tarrant's departure. Maybe Johnson has to play CHB or Faulkes is immediately elevated and plays (though I am hearing Silvagni is ahead of him).

Another interesting crop of mature agers (Mzungu, Faulkes etc) so they might fill gaps quickly but who knows...start of season could be difficult for them.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I can't see Barlow having much of an impact this year either. We saw what happened to Nathan "Judas" Brown when he had a similar injury, he was never really the same and suffered from that injury for the rest of his career.

            Michael Voss recovered OK though.

I think Barlow will be fine. The Freo medical staff are notoriously slow/conservative with injury management and they will be making sure he crawls before he walks.

Something Victorian clubs don't really appreciate I guess.
Must be a sore point with clubs over there.
Thanks for the lowdown MJP, scraggers, cambo
              I actually don't mind Freo.

Anthony is what we thought he was....chuckled at that.

When does this start, Vic time?

I read 5.30, not 100% sure that was Victorian time though.

14-1 Freos way in the first. Dockers are kicking with a strong breeze(4-5 goals according to some Freo guys at the game).

                              From Freo's BF board

                              5.7 freo
                              0.3 wb
Lower, Mzungu Crowley, Anthony, Broughton going well.
Zachary doing some good stuff as a wingman.
                              Set up been more normal.
For WB Zeph Skinner has been impressive and Ed Barlow needs to be shot after shutting his pants and ducking his head to almost set us up for a goal.
                              Suban also impressive.
Breeze probably 4 goals to wb end

We just got the first goal of the second quarter
