He supposedly lacks the tank to play out a full game at AFL level - but given he has rucked and played forward, he sounds versatile enough to be a sub.

Isnt that what the interchange is for, rarely do players play a full game.

Even the young players should be able to play 3 quarters as a minimum so I agree their fitness is very important.

From reading all the reports, I am just a touch excited! It would appear we have some depth finally - the younger boys came back from a slow start to over-run Freo in the last quarter. I know it's only a practice game, but hey, I am just a little bit 'cited!
