Bit of a hobby horse of mine but I think managers are sneaky and greedy and have promoted disloyalty, sneakiness and greedComment

Something about the way players shop their interests around tells you about their character.
I thought Dangerfield did his in a dignified way.
Not sure Carlisle, bitching and moaning to forwards from opposition teams while on the job, has shown professionalism. But mind you, being contracted to Essendon would test a man's patience. You don't develop courage by being happy in your relationships every day. Re: Operation get Jake Carlisle
95% of deals just happen without any fanfare, and most agents have good relationships with the clubs.
The belief that agents are just trying to shop players around to other clubs all the time, to feather their own nests, is just plain wrong. And I think often the agents have to play the 'bad guy' to help their client get the outcome he wants, whilst protecting his own reputation.Comment

I guess it works both ways. This time last year we loved Liam Pickering, this time we dislike Liam Pickering (Talia).
I could be totally wrong, but Paul Connors seems a genuine guy and as Ozza says 95% of deals get done without any publicity.More of an In Bruges guy?Comment
