AFL article on Ryan Gardner. Don't know much about him but sounds a type that could interest us as a late pick/bolter.

Looks a good build, even if he does look a little like k d lang!!
I have him in the mix mainly because he is very mobile.

Interesting article that analyses data from several 'experts' phantom drafts.

Just looked at Adams video again. Gee I like him. Flexible - can play forward or back, 22yo and solid, athleticism, contested marking, mongrel....Wonder if we will take a chance with a WA lad at one of our 20's picks? (I think he might be gone by our 30's pick). I agree with PP, I reckon he will be a bolter.

Also liked the look of Markov, perhaps a rookie or late pick? Bit of Easton Wood about him.

Suspect we will not pick players with possibly suspect disposal - which is why mock drafts have Dunkley as a slider.

It will be a fascinating Tuesday next week, I'm sure I will not be the only one who will be sneaking looks at outcome whilst working....

I really wish Burton well however due to risk involved with his leg, I'm guessing we will pass on him - unless he is still there at our 50ish pick?

This would be very interesting. Obviously a huge talent but not much point drafting him if they think his injury will stop his ability to get to that level.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Another late bolter may be Kyle Galloway. 18 years old, already 206 cm and 105 kg. Played with Murray Bushrangers this year and apparently made progress. He is from Deniliquin, not far from Narranderra, Southern NSW, where Matthew Flynn, another prospective ruckman, is from. Both 100 kg+ and athletic, latecomers to AFL but real progressive types.

Emma Quayle is renowned as having good club contacts and nailing phantom drafts. She was asked to nominate a slider who could reach Doggies. She named 3; Keiran Collins, Riley Bonner and Ben MacKay (reckons BM is the one we'd be least likely to take, which is surprising).

Yeah I think Collins and Bonner would tempt me over MacKay. Would be a tough call though.

I've been very confident that one of Collins or McKay will slide to us, so one of them.
Rioli sounds like he could be a bolter

Not just that - where does he play?
He has stated in interviews he wants to be a midfielder but his exposed 2014 form is as a lead up medium forward and they have traditionally slid down the order (Stringer being an exception).
