I'm not certain we have a pick inside 50 tonight. But like you cannot find anything saying what the indicative draft order for today is.

My understanding is that we had pick 47 left, and gained 69 with our leftover points, but obviously the removal of our picks and Collingwood's picks used in the bids would move that up. But none of the mainstream sites that cover AFL seem to have this basic information.

Without starting the whole "they haven't played a game yet" argument I thought he was a huge win for Essendon who picked a number of taller players last year. Hobbs should be a great addition for them.

Freo have a strong hand and should be pleased at landing the local boys.

Richmond also on the surface look to have a good balance on night one and again hit hard and early again tonight.

The BF spreadsheet says 41. Either way there shoudl be a couple of bids before our pick to sock up a few picks and shift us up the order a little bit. An early 40s pick is probably slightly higher than most of us anticipated we'd have before draft day 2.

I really hope we're targeting an indigenous player. We seem to have worked hard to develop our indigenous program, and I've long lamented we've not had a strong first nations presence on our list.
With Travis Varcoe running our program, and with Jamarra on board, I really hope in a couple of years we've a range of talented indigenous players on our list.

I'm really disappointed with the player Essendon have picked up, he really looks like he will compliment them will straight away.

Loving what Fremantle did picking two local boys who both are different players and highly skilled in their own right.
Does anyone believe they reached by picking the two WA boys?

About time they picked an aggressive inside mid that will actually run both ways, If iI were the Gold Coast I would have picked a player like him they need more fabric.
