    Taller and quicker.
He has some Macrae similarities from the vision I've seen. Sidestep, and can kick the ball a bit high/loopy.

The age has us bidding on Jasper Fletcher at our first pick, then taking park the Busslinger (excuse the World Cup).

It looks pretty much the same top 20 as Twomey.

I'm a little torn between Allan and Busslinger at the pick I can understand why we are considering both just think that Allan is more to Bevo's taste.

Yeah, he sounds a bit more 'boom or bust' but incredible upside.

Buss sounds like the interceptor we've craved for a few years though. I'm sure we'll be happy with either player.

In recent times I was initially disappointed about drafting Bont and Naughty, so if we select Busslinger, I won't be disappointed. We generally hit the mark with our first pick.

Remember when some were about to take the cyanide pill when we had to take Weightman?

Jack, (Stringer), Bont, English, Richards, Naughty, Smith, Weightman, Marra, Darcy. Only two First Round trades that secured Premiership Players Boyd & Dunkley with Clay Smith in 2011 another PP.

Pretty amazing First Round form guide. One miss in decade, which was attitude and not talent. Pretty easy to feel very comfortable that whatever happens first round tonight that things will be good.

I wouldn't count Stringer as a miss. In my book we haven't messed up a first round pick since we picked up the leg cannon himself Christian Howard in 2009.

I agree that it was the right pick. The ‘miss’ was between his ears years down the track. Without looking at all the other clubs, surely we are at least Top 3 for first round draft performance the last decade. If not higher including our retention of them.

There is nothing wrong with Busslinger and I think he is judged more on how the WA state coached used him more than his ability to play which isn't a fair reflection. I do rate some others ahead of him but I would be very positive if we called his name.

Given teams try to get their best 'interceptor' away from the no 1 & 2 KPF anyway (McGovern and Lever for example) I'm sure if we have identified a clear role for his play-reading ability he'll turn out fine.

This is a good meta analysis of the draft experts' views from the ABC.

Thanks for that Gg. Personally I hope we hold onto the 2 first rounders for next season. Supposed to be a better draft than this year.

                            Good analysis by abc.
