Dahlhaus was the exact opposite. While Dahlhaus had flaws in his game, his pace and hassling meant he was always a chance.

I've already said I've only seen Hunter play twice. I saw a one paced mid half forward who didn't get a lot of the ball.

I also accept I've seen his two worst performances of the year.

I don't know when he had OP. I saw the last two games of the nationals.

According to a news article I just read we might be taking him at pick 27.

Would be a mistake if that's the case.

Well the article pretty much says he will go before our next pick at 46 but in saying that it all depends on trades done and the shuffling of draft picks but right at this minute that's how it stands.

I haven't read the article but it sounds a mile off the mark. For us to use pick 27 then we need someone to bid for him before that which effectively means someone late in the first round or GWS, GC or Melbourne early in the 2nd. Possible but unlikely in my opinion.

Trading is irrelevant to father-son selections isn't it?

Agree. 3rd round pick would fine.

Article below states that a 3rd round selection is most likely also. I presume this is this article you were referring to ledge?

Depends if we trade anyone for different picks

Not really. Father son selections are determined before the trade period.

ledge, my man, your first comment on this page sans link was pretty wowserish

Nowhere in that article did I get the impression we were picking up Hunter with our second round pick, especially when the article claims we're going to face clubs risking high draft picks just to keep us accountable.......
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
