Jordan Lockyer yet to be taken yet, didn't realise he wasn't.
Would've taken him over Tynan and Bolger. Ah well, gotta pay more attention.

Phew...was worried I was going to lose him in the Schade mix up!

Shattered. I thought I was a big chance to land him for the Blues.

Pick #44. Carlton - Tom Curran

Impressed by this kid. He's a great size at 195cms and no doubt he'll add some size to his frame after a few pre-seasons. He's a physical player - hits a contest hard and leads straight. Sticky hands, neat disposal and is a genuine KPF. He's a great option for Carlton at this pick, as they need a strong (and big) presence. Curran, IMO, is the man best fit to deliver them that. He suits their needs more than Dobosz, who reminds me a little of our own Jarrad Grant. Curran is more your power forward.

Just on Lockyer, I think he will go by the mid 20's. His Combine results with his running were very good.

Midfielder

Quick medium midfielder that is a good user of the football. Can also play off half back or go up forward and have an impact. Takes the game on and uses his speed to good effect. Good clean hands. Has the ability to play inside and outside. He has had a pretty poor year by his standards, but he’s had a few injury concerns. Needs to bulk up a bit.

Why - Adds more depth to an already good midfield

Considered Smith, Merrett and Bussey.

Solid midfielder with a good blend of pace and endurance.
He has a nice left foot and he can play as inside or as outside midfielder. Best known for his clearance work.

Josh is a mid sized defender who showed in the TAC Cup & championships that he can play both tall & small. Good mark for his size, but can go 3rd man up a little too often which can leave his opponents free when the ball hits the ground.

Purely picked this guy because of his running abilities. Will take some time, but could develop into a much needed outside runner to take some heat off Davey.
