It's irritating me to keep reading that the Bombers want more than pick 22 for Crameri.
Wonder what they would have given for Martin in their failed bid for him last night.

Suspect hypocrisy is one of their strong points.

If they won't take 22 then we should trade it down. For example only, 22 for 33 and White. Then 33 on Crameri in the ND.

Could be part of the 'conditioning' strategy. Keep getting Essendon type journo's to print/tweet it, get supporters talking about it so people are ultimately conditioned towards it. I'd spew if we gave up anything other than our second round pick.

It's a tactic not lost on me but to have the audacity to make a bid for Martin and then carry on that Crameri is worth a lot more than he really is just shows how self centered the Bombers and their main supporters are.

Unfortunately they haven't counted on our seemingly unshakeable list manager being at the helm. Can't see him taking a backward step, particularly when we hold such a strong hand on this.

I really dont see what the problem is - essendon's last word was they wouldnt be trading Crameri. At that point we wish them good luck, hang up the phone and dont contact them about it ever again.

Crammers will get to us with a front loaded contract in the PSD.

Just can't see a team picking a player that simply refuses to meet them and categorically states his intention to join another team on a high front ended contract.

To pull a number out of the air, you think the Saints would pay $650K/yr over 4 years for Crameri?

We might be able to go further and pay Crammers $700K in his first year, then $500K, then $300K, then $300K .. whatever suits our age profile and cap going forward.
