WESTERN BULLDOGS

STEWART Crameri will be the primary objective this week, while the Bulldogs are one of several clubs looking at 2006 No.6 draft pick Mitch Thorp, a ready-made forward now plying his trade in Tasmania. Free agent Dylan Addison remains unsigned and could be headed back to New South Wales after strong finish to the season.

Free agents: Dylan Addison (one year deal, at best)
Draft picks: 4, 22, 38, 56, 74, 92, 110

It'll be a late pick or Rookie pick as suggested and I really hope we take a punt on him.

Most likely he will play another season at the Calder Cannons.

Calder could offer him a spot next year as an 'over age' kid. Or Footscray could select him. I understand he's still eligible for F/S next year so I would be disappointed if he didn't get one last shot, assuming he nominates for the draft and is overlooked.

Some might wonder if we'll be kicking ourselves next year if Foster performs strongly and attracts interest from other clubs so as we'd need to use a higher pick to secure him but I see it as a win-win. We don't tie up a spot on our list in 2014 and if he improves so much that other clubs bid, well that's a good problem to have.

If he is not picked up in the main draft we can then farther son rookie list as the AFL changed the rules for farther son prospects last year . This nomination process happens before the rookie draft starts. So there is is a chance he could be a farther son pick up. Hope that helps.

Is Docherty really that good? Don't really remember him being a stand out for me in his draft year. Has anyone really seen much of him playing at Brissie that's impressed them as a major upgrade on our list? If we get Crameri in the PSD, then giving up 22 (probably 24 or 25 by draft time) means we might miss a Wilson or a Hartung speedy mid type player. We definitely need a speedy half back flacker if he defends well though? Just wondering if there is Docherty hype because he's available or if he really looks the goods?

Where is this being reported GVG?

I have no idea about Kennedy, but I really don't rate Gysberts at all. Saw him play a few VFL games this year and he was awful.

I followed a link on Twitter to a FB page. It seems to pretty well up to date with most other known trade possibilities.
