Re: Third test Australia V South Africa - Adelaide
Looking forward to this test more than any in a while. Renshaw, Handscomb and Sayers all good prospects. Feels like real change. Makes me think back to Wood and Darling being picked as a fresh opening duo many years ago.

Yeah, at least we're not trotting out blokes who have tried and failed. I'm actually considering watching a few sessions.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Won't make much difference. Good to see Bird get his chance.
Suppose not. One or two of the new boys might make some runs. A middle order that contributes more than 30 runs between them would be a good start and may present some sort of obstacle to tge South Africans.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Renshaw the first debutant to field at first slip? Takes his first catch dismissing Amla
Nice catch too. Now Duminy is out - lost in all the discussion this summer is that SAF have a very ordinary top order. Amla nowhere near his best form (and hasn't been for a couple of years) and the rest of their top 4 are frankly rubbish. De Kock at 7 masks a lot of their batting frailties.

Yep, there's a reason they were ranked at 5 before this series

Australia losing 10 wickets for < 100 runs is masking South Africa batting being rubbish
