          Re: Sheffield Shield

The Vics debuted a 17yo leg spin bowler named Wil Parker who has taken 3 wickets against NSW that included 3 top order batsman

Between Will Puckovski, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Mackenzie Harvey, Will Sutherland and now Parker they have done a good job at bringing in some younger guys

Vic's in a strong position after poiting 431 and having NSW at 7 for 236

Tasmania have folded quickly to Queensland after being bowled out for 78 in the first innings and being 4 for 80 in the second. They are still 100 behind QLD

SA made 389 against WA and have them 5 for 177

Parker is so new that they don't even have his name in the bowling figures! I wish that I could take a screen shot because it has the first three bowlers names and figures and then a set of figures with no name or picture alongside them and then there are two more bowlers under the mystery figures with names and pictures attached!

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Some nice batting with Maddison 105 no, and Harris 54 no, declaring at 1/168. NSW need 249 on the last day

Gutsy move to give them a target like that. Pattinson and Henriques have a lot to play for.

Both failed today and NSW are 5 wickets down but still an outside chance if they can build a partnership

Tassie win was a great comeback after looking down and out. Tim Paine steadied the ship, and in the end they needed 3 runs off 8 balls to secure the win.

The Vics looked down and out 2 games ago, sitting winless and last on the table. After 2 wins against the top 2 teams they are third and only 3 points behind Queensland in second.

Apart from NSW the competition table is pretty tight. Tasmania have been rubbish for most of the season, but are only 9 points behind 2 in last position.

The final spot against NSW is open to anyone who can win their last 2 games.
