Needed that win desperately. And Trav Dean got a 100. And Victoria had 12 batsmen bat in the second innings after Christian replaced Wil Sucovski. In all my time playing and watching cricket I think it's the first time I can remember that happening.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It's a great rule that has been brought in.

A very emotional game where the Vics prevailed, Ahmed is a very capable cricketer of swinging a game. NSW had this won until Ahmed decided otherwise.

Yep, it makes sense. It's better than having blokes with broken jaws and arms coming out at #11 and trying to save games.

3/5 in two overs to win the match! The skipper throws him the ball and tells him to keep it tight but Fawad can sense a kill.

NSW lost 4/10 to lose by 24 runs. Someone must have changed seats in the NSW dressing rooms.

Tassie are well placed in their game against South Australia.
If they manage an outright win the final round at Bellerive will see Vic V Tas for a spot in the final.

Is any other side capable of making the final BJ?

Queensland basically have one spot tied up, but SA would be a chance if they managed to somehow get over Tassie in the current game.

Pretty sure the sub is only available for concussion.

You'd have a fairly solid case for concussion if you had a broken jaw I reckon.

Broken arm might be a stretch though. Would have to be a freak incident to end up with a broken jaw these days, unless you mention David Warner's wife.

I was 13 when I tried to kook the club's fastest bowler, the ball hit the inside of my forearm and then cannoned into my jaw breaking it in two places. Apparantly I insisted I was alright but collapsed to the ground as he was running in to bowl the next ball.

Tassie have got their win over South Australia despite a big scare with Travis Head scoring a big hundred to get SA very close.

The final round commences March 14 (Wednesday) with Tasmania hosting Victoria at Bellerive.

The winner of this clash will take on Queensland in the shield final.

Currently Tas lead Victoria 39.29 to 39.11

WA would need to draw the current game and NSW would need to defeat Qld in the last round for Qld not to host the final
