All credit to Croatia, but they had 1 shot on target in 120+ minutes. They’re very well organised but they aren’t the best prospect if you want exciting free flowing games. Unbelievable at penalties though.

It's why it's the beautiful game. There's more than one way to win and you're always in with a chance.

The Dutch were gone, and then from nowhere they play Brucie Ball (tall guys on, go long into the box) and bang its game on.
      Love it.

What an amazing night of football. Argentina v Netherlands was an insane roller-coaster. They are a mentally tough team the Argies, far tougher than Brazil. They concede 2 goals in the last 15 mins but regroup and steel themselves in extra time, where they created a host of chances, and penalties. Brazil over-celebrated when they scored, lost focus and went to water in the 2nd half of extra time. And it was a weak shoot-out by them. Their best player and key penalty taker doesn't step up and take one. Brazil are far too emotional when they play, and it hurts them in tight matches against well disciplined teams when things aren't going all their way.
They did almost melt down. That ball into the opposition bench was losing your shit stuff.

They swarmed the ref at the end of regular time, how that's allowed is beyond me. I can see why decision makers go with zero tolerance you give some people an inch.....

Martinez their goal keeper is the best villian ever.

There was a shoot out in the Copa Americano that had to be seen to be believed. He's nuts.

This could be quite the story. Especially after his story yesterday and the trouble he got himself into over a rainbow t shirt.

What was his story yesterday? I knew about the rainbow t-shirt incident.

He's reportedly been quite ill with bronchitis or something similar, though had been given medication/ anti-biotics to remedy it. Timing is fishy as.

2 amazing games of soccer. The Croatians were so resilient - they just would not be denied.

And well done to Argentina. Kept their heads while the other mob just wanted a brawl - never seen an entire bench swarm the ground during a game - in most sports all the players would be ejected / red carded when leaving the bench to join a fight.

Let's hope these were just the appetizer to 2 huge games tomorrow morning. Hopefully the Moroccans can serve it right up to Portugal. Have a feeling the French will destroy England though. The cup is France's to lose now that Brazil are out.

                    Don't underestimate the Poms FT.

Very strong side, and I cant have any side with Giroud as your main man making it any further.

Yep. The Poms look pretty solid all over the field. Even Maguire looks decent.

It's all going to come down to how they handle Mbappe.

I think Walker will get first shot, but Trips will as get some time on him later on.
