Great that Green got his century. I hope Khawaja can take control with the tail.

Especially when you've got an even more talented player in Inglis making runs for fun at the moment.

Think Carey needs to have a productive Ashes or there will be questions about his place.

Do we want to declare and have a bowl at them tonight or keep batting until we're out?
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I'd declare and have a crack at them.

480 a great innings by Australia especially the partnership of 208 between Ussi and Green. Well done to the tail as well with Murphy and Lyon putting on some handy runs.

Really excited for Green, think that innings will be a great platform for him to build on and give his confidence a huge boost.

I think Murphy might be the one to watch on this wicket. There's not a heap out there - I think his subtle changes and ability to work batsman over will be useful.

Have they prepared a bit of a road to ensure a draw?

There were a few Ashwin deliveries late that started to hop and turn a bit, however, it's a pretty dull wicket.

A draw isn't that beneficial for India. It means they win the series 2-1 but it opens the door for Sri Lanka to qualify for the WTC Final, if they beat New Zealand 2-0.

I just think this is a pretty traditional Indian pitch. They're flat early, both teams go big in the first innings before the pitch starts to crumble. In that, I think 450 is an okay score but India are in the driving seat for mine.

Shouldn't they be just as ashamed with this one.

At least a draw is what they need to make Test Championship final and they serve up a pitch that provides the best chance of that.

I read somewhere that a draw was enough but I am not up with the intricacies.

India really flexed their muscle yesterday. We need some quick wickets to slow down their momentum.

Not sure I'm feeling great about the next couple of sessions.

If I was part of the Australian touring team I'd be keeping a pretty close eye on the pitch overnight, that's for sure.

With the ability of Australia to collapse, they are no certainty to hold on.

Australia can't win but they could certainly lose.

The first hour will be telling. If we can minimise any damage early on we should be fine but we will need at least 2 of the batsman to post 50+ scores on a day 5 pitch.
