On the flip side the harder ball seems to be the best chance to score. The runs really dried up against the older ball on day 1.

Good pitch for batting and these two are building well. It's an important session, we couldn't win it here but we could definitely lose it. Think the measured approach is the right one.

Pretty incredible that this is Green's 20th Test before his 24th birthday. He's starting to accrue a lot of experience for such a young guy.

This should have been the type of pitch prepared for the 3rd test. India were too smart by half in Indore and got badly bitten by their own hubris.

India should be ashamed of themselves with the pitches they presented for the first 3 tests.

Would be great for his confidence if he could go on and get his first test century.

His batting and bowling averages are currently better than Ben Stokes.

One extreme to the other. Something that is reasonable to bat on early that starts to break up and spin more as the game goes on should be their aim.

I saw the ground staff at the last ground said don't blame them for the pitch - BCCI send in their own curators to doctor, I mean prepare the pitch at each test venue.

Yep, it's something that I'd like to see him achieve.

I like Green, he is real talent. On 83 at the moment.

Well 2 sessions have been completed without the loss of a wicket.
Green on 95no and lets hope he can go with it.

If Alex Carey wasn't told to go the hit then he's a special type of ****wit.
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
