Great season for Arsenal BAD. You would be bitterly disappointed not to have won it. You matched Man City all the way.

The Villa loss was the game that made the difference. Win that and it is a different story.

Hopefully we see it change and there is more competency in the club with how we spend the money and bring in the right players who will get us the ultimate success again.

We were spoiled for many years under Fergie. We had great challenges and he was able to adapt over those years Newcastle in the late 90s briefly then Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.

The next title win outside of Fergie will be big.

Playing for a draw instead of a win against City is probs one they'd love to Mulligan too.

Hopefully we can review the season and see what we need to go to the next step.

                Toon toon.

The game was lacklustre, however seeing Bruno live was worth the ticket price alone.

That's what they said, but I fear it's BS and there was probably somewhere around 70K maximum.

Even though it was lacklustre, which is not surprising given how tired the squads would have been, the quality early when both sides had top line players on the pitch was fine. Like GG, was good to see some players play live.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

How parochial was it - felt like we were the Washington Generals FFS! Did they even introduce the Newcastle team? I got there right at the start so may have missed it.

Then as predicted when all the hype died down the theatre goers sat there in silence whilst the Newcastle fans sang. Oh - except when the guy they knew from the tele, you know the one that sits with Ange, the South Korean guy, number 7.... when he got it, well it was like GO PLAYER I KNOW AND HAVE SEEN AND HEARD IS GOOD GO!

Was like the Liverpool v Victory game years ago. 90k there, all LiVARpool wannabees turning out to sing the song. After that....silence except for the Victory fans. ITS YOUR HOME TOWN TEAM FFS!!

They did the full intro of our squad about ten minutes before the Spurs squad. Played Going Home and Howay the Lads, so on balance with Oh when the Saints and Spurs go Marching On it was pretty even. They did a special intro for Ange as well. Spurs got more pyrotechnics but that may have been a programming error.

                          Aha good.

They did play Blaydon Races at half time too my wife did get a little emotional then.

                          Something her Granny would sing.

All the lads and lasses there with all the smiling faces, ganning (going) along the Scotswood roooooooad, to see the Blaydon races.
