As they were getting a few runs for the 10th wicket I thought of the Centenary test of 1977.

Australia won that by 45 after winning the inaugural test of 1877 by 45 runs.

Doug Walters famous quote went something like "100 bloody years and the Poms haven't improved by a single run"

It seems that 46 years on they have made 2 runs progress.

Which part? The part where over is not called, the ball is coming at your stumps as a live ball and you wander down the pitch?

What’s next? Upset is there’s a run out and the English player hasn’t grounded his bat but it was over the line? Because, you know, he made the distance so what does being grounded in your crease really mean?
