Agree. The decision won’t matter in the end as it is delaying the inevitable for England.

Rule of Law, Westminster system of Government, Democracy. 'brace' as a verb is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as "'prepare (oneself) for something difficult or unpleasant." By definition, Starc was in the state of preparation. Not a catch. Cricket's great. It's governed by Laws, not rules. We are going to win anyway, 2 up in an Ashes series in the Old Dart. How good is that ? We can afford to be magnanimous and democratic.

But you're saying he was in control of his body, right? If he wasn't he wouldn't have braced.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I am not sure how any fair minded person could consider that as anything other than a fair catch.
Taken cleanly with both hands and so in control he could comfortably remove one hand.
The touch on the ground well after the catch is complete has no bearing.

How many times have we seen a catch taken and within seconds the ball is thrown up in the air. Starc had the ball in his hands a long time before he braced himself whilst falling down

Ned Kelly would be the last person I asked about laws.

Anyway, as YOU posted Starc needed to be in control of his body. If you want to say he wasn't in control of his body that's fine. It's incorrect, but fine.

Yep. And it's a shit deck.

Breaking this partnership is super critical, reckon they go to shit if we do.

Yeah that's the key to winning this. Not a great start today at all.

England looking like they are slowly getting there with only Starc showing he could get a wicket.

Need to start the barrage of short deliveries
