Regardless we should be wrapping this test up with a win. Those 4 quick wickets were critical and have put us in pole position. Remove Duckett early and we've got all day to remove their long tail. Shouldn't be losing this one.

By definition, Starc was in the state of preparation. Not a catch. Cricket's great. It's governed by Laws, not rules. We are going to win anyway, 2 up in an Ashes series in the Old Dart. I am not sure how any fair minded person could consider that as anything other than a fair catch.
Taken cleanly with both hands and so in control he could comfortably remove one hand.
The touch on the ground well after the catch is complete has no bearing.

How many times have we seen a catch taken and within seconds the ball is thrown up in the air. Starc had the ball in his hands a long time before he braced himself whilst falling down
