Not enough runs from the tail but a good total nonetheless.

So much for Baz ball. Bowl short, they go for it and bingo. Brook gone on 50

I feel sorry for Brook as he was reliably informed the series was over after day one, ball one at Edbaston when a ball was hit through cover for four. In his mind he shouldn't even have to bat.

Great morning session. Bit overcast now so may be some movement. Good to get through to lunch. Aim to bat to tea tomorrow and post a 300+ lead.

It'll be a bit of an ask for us to bat four plus session I think, but the good news is if we do the match will be out of reach.

We will need a bit of a lead without the option of Lyon's day 5 magic

This is seriously good test cricket right now.

Not sure I've missed it but the commentary seems to have not figured out we're batting for time rather than runs at the moment. Warner batting out of his crease forgoing runs as a prime example.

Bowling is pretty good, defence of it is also pretty good. Super tense.

England getting kissed on the dick again with bowling conditions, but they're a bit toothless.

It's a shame that play was stopped so early with just a 220 run lead. Khawaja was impressive again.
