Yeah is a great documentary that one. Try watching 4 days in October. Another awesome documentary about the Red Sox coming back from 0-3 in the ALCS over NY Yankees to win 4-3 & advance to win the WS for the first time in 86 years. First time in MLB history a team has come back from 0-3 in a LCS.

Mad Max on the mound tomorrow who has been the tigers best pitcher this year so I'm hopeful even with CC on the hill for NY that we can end this tomorrow. If not then we have to get it done in game 5 as i don't want to go back to the Bronx to advance.

Don't know about the retribution though Remi as you see that a lot. I really don't like it but it seems to be accepted over there as part of the runners role to take out the SS. I would love to see the SS or 2nd baseman just jump in the air & deliberately put his cleats into the runner. I'd like to see it taken out of the game as well as smashing the catcher at home plate.

        Go Tigers.
Giants are saying all the right stuff, but I guarantee Holliday will get drilled.
Maybe next season, that's the way the game is played.

I hope he gets drilled cause he slid over the bag to nail him & surely its not in the spirit of the game.

Wow Wee ( sorry going all Brian Taylor there)
Giants and the annoying red Birds are locked at 3 3.
Cards up 3 1 looked home but the Giants just as they did against the Reds, back from the Grave. Love to see Giants win, personally. Whatever happens Tigers in the box seat now, especially rotations for the Giants and Cards all over the shop.

Hope the Giants win, just so the World Series isn't between the 11th and 12th best teams of the regular season.

Agree, good to see two teams who at least won their division.
Giants take game 7 in the pouring rain, got a few breaks ( the pence broken bat double hit )
                  Great W/S coming up

Went to a game at Comerica Park in 2005 so that means I'm kind of a Tigers fan. Go Tigers!!

I'm so jealous Suz. I've told my wife that if we ever go to the US that i want to go to a game at Commerica Park but as you can imagine the wife isn't to keen to visit Detroit. What did you think of the experience?

Welcome abord the Tiger bandwagon Suz. There is plenty of room & it would be nice to have a fellow woofer cheer on the Tigers as i think I'm out numbered on here with most going for the Giants in the WS.

Thanks anfo27! It was great fun! We bought tickets the day before the game which included a hot dog & a pepsi (so very baseball!!). It was also 'free hat' day so we ended up with Detroit Tigers caps too. All for $14. It was damn hot so we moved back to the last row to be in the shade. I remember 'we' played the Balitmore Orioles & when Sammy Sosa came out to bat there was huge applause, as well as some very cool dancing from the kids around us to the music Sammy walked out to. Looks like we'll be back in Detroit in June next year (there's a NASCAR race on at Michigan that fits in with our US trip) so hopefully the stars align and we can get back to Comerica Park!

We also have relatives in Pittsburgh & saw a Pirates v Texas Rangers game in 2007 at PNC Park. It was 'free plate' night but we left our plates there, too breakable. So they're our other team.

Wow, Verlander & the Tigers killed by Panda-monium. 3hr's in a World Series game is ridiculous

Play of the third base bag, pitcher RBI's it's all going the Giants way.
Some great at bat's on Verlander, really made him work.
Didn't realise before the post season Barry Zito was still with the giants!

Not a great start for my tigers. Bloody Kung-fu Panda gave JV 2 lethal roundhouse kicks that sent the ace to the canvas.

Valverde comes in and struggles again giving up 2 runs. That just about sealed his fate for the series as i can't see Jim going to Valverde with a lead or even in a close game.

As bad as that game was, if we can win tomorrow & head home with the series tied then we will have achieved what we were after.

I was worried heading in to game 1 having a 5 day break that we could be a bit off the pace & i think we were. We also don't have a great record against left handed starting pitching.
