McDonalds bowling isn't as effective as it should be now. I wouldn't think he is in any danger of being dropped but he isn't in great form.
With Ross Taylor coming back in for the prelim, I think his spot is in a bit of danger.
The obvious first ten picked for me would be:
Finch
Hodge
Taylor
White
Hussey
Bravo
Wade
Hastings
McKay
Nannes
That leaves a battle between McDonald and Holland. McDonald offers batting depth and Holland adds variety to the bowling attack with his spin. I mainly see McDonald as a batsman in the side but with Bravo and Hastings to a degree, his value is diminished. Without him we would have Hastings at 8 and even McKay at 9 which is pretty good. Definitely a (goodish) dilemma for the selectors.
Just a bit of pointless info. They sectioned off a bay in the Northern Stand for people in corporate boxes/invited to the game/celebrities. I sat in the last bay before it and saw Callan Ward, Sam Reid and Liam Picken (and Marcus for that matter!).
I also saw Dustin Fletcher, Glenn Archer, Ricky Olarenshaw (who is doing his darnedest to top Terry Wallace's most cringe worthy fake tan), Grant Thomas (surprisingly getting food), Dean Jones and a guy from Thank God You're Here and radio.
Went in tonight and thankfully was a distance from the swill around bay 13! Honestly why do people throw beachballs around and conduct tiresome waves[past it's use buy date 20 years ago]Enjoyed what was on offer special kudos to Brad Hodge magnificient innings. First limited overs game I've attended in 20 years
As good as SA have been I wonder how they'll go in the CL without Pollard and Afridi. I think Victoria has the best chance of winning so it would be (extra) good if we beat Queensland Tuesday.

Pretty sure I heard that Afridi is unavailable for the T20 final as he will be added to the Pakistani squad for the one-dayers. (D.Hussey & White could be in the same situation with the Aus squad)

Hells Bells, you sound like a Collingwood supporter with undeserved arrogance like that!
