Defence was excellent. Derby were the better team but just couldn't penetrate the R's defence, although Green did make a couple of excellent saves.

Hopefully the club has learnt lessons from the past and not just spend big money on journeymen. The club is still in financial poo even allowing for the 80 million pounds they have earnt by being promoted.

Lallana will probably end up at Spurs now.

Poch should be a great pick up, apparently has a top 4 clause though which puts a fair bit of pressure on him.

Tiago back to Chelsea(after 10 seasons) on a free from Atletico Madrid. Is 33 but coming off his best season and will add some wonderful depth to our CM for a season or 2.

Hurry up Costa, the suspense is killing me.

The Lambert deal is 4 mil, the extra 5 mil is to come off Lallana deal which will be announced soon. Bournemouth have a 25% sell on clause for Lallana so Southampton pays less to them. The little guy gets screwed again.

Sadly I think Lamps is finished as a starter at our level unfortunately and I'm sure he doesn't want to be just a squad player. I'm sure going to miss him, probs the 2nd greatest Chelsea player I have witnessed behind Drogba. Amazing amount of goals from a mid. Would be nice if the Pogba rumours were true and he was the one to take his spot.

It certainly makes more sense off the Tiago signing if he is off.
