Average as in nothing special (I've heard and seen him described that way a fair bit, plus from watching him play), especially for 30mil. Not saying he's a bad player, he is an improvement on Adebayor though which is handy.

He is in the top 10 finishers in Europe. Id say thats special. 30m was a lot 3 years ago, now its the going price for a good forward.

Chelsea have had a second bid of 25mil plus add ons for Wazza rejected. Apparently(rumoured anyway) Rooney is refusing to play and will put in a transfer request(didn't travel with the team to Sweden) with United saying he has a shoulder injury.

We'll play United on the 26th, with Rooney on the bench and a couple days later he will sign for us(probable on the last day of the window). That's how I see it(or that's what I hope).

Yeah. And whatever happens Luis is going to miss the first quarter of the season anyway.
