Thats really not that huge anymore surprisingly.
The other day when the press were in raptures about Federer being the highest paid sportsman in the world got me thinking. Does he want to be remembered for his tennis or how much money he has? While I understand that one thing (winning lots of tournaments) leads to the other (lots of winner's cheques) if I were him all the concentration on my pay packets would make me think they are missing the point.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The window hasn't even opened and we've replaced out going Pedro and Willian with Ziyech and Werner.
Pinch me I'm dreaming.
I still laugh to myself whenever I see that Ashley Cole line about him walking away shaking with anger after Wenger 'only' offered him 55 000 a week. It almost looks quaint these days.

Nathan Ake from Bournemouth off to Man City for £40m to help strengthen their defence.
Bad day for Newcastle fans with the Saudi consortium reportedly pulling out of the purchase due to the FA taking too long to approve. Hopefully somebody less problematic can come along to inject some funds and give them a boost.

On a Wolves front, the rumour seems to be that we’ll sign Paulinho from Braga (because Portuguese) to replace Raul Jimenez who will be off to United. Be gutted to lose him. Very difficult striker to replace. Perfect for the Prem, although Paulinho seems to be in the mold.

Ake will be a great get for Pep. Wish we had of bought him back.
While the Saudis are pirating the EPL telecast in their country they were never going to be allowed to have a team.
