EPL Results - Round 17
Newcastle 1-3 Man City
Man Utd 3-1 Sunderland
Norwich City 2-1 Wigan

Good win by Man Utd which keeps us 6 points clear at the top with Man City winning as well. Chelsea are playing this weekend in the World Club Cup Final so there game against Southampton will be played at another time.Last edited by Eastdog; 18-12-2012, 11:38 PM."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. Blimey losing to Villa at home.
This is the worst Liverpool side in my 30 years following the English league.Comment

And it's not like they haven't been spending the money(read somewhere that previous to this season, over the last 5 years they have spent as much as Chelsea), they just have brought some average players lately. The curse is dead.Comment

The big mystery for me is why did Liverpool appointed David Breant as their manager.
If you cant manage a branch office of a paper manufacturer, then managing a Premier league club is probably beyond your skills set...They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread
Enthralling game that further exposed our glaring weakness's at the defensive mid and striker positions, looking forward to some January buys to fix this.
Fantastic effort from their keeper Cassio who won them the game with 3 or 4 world world class saves.
Sad seeing Lampard have so little impact on games nowadays, the end is nigh
Hopefully this infatuation with Torres ends in January and not June, he should have buried those 3 chances he had last night.Last edited by chef; 17-12-2012, 09:00 AM.The curse is dead.Comment
