From our group who will go through. You would think Netherlands and Spain. If Chile and Netherlands win tonight then the group is done and dusted with no chance for Spain or us to make it.

Complacency is our best friend, hoping they have a let down after a big first up game. RVP isn't so special, Robben on the other hand...one thing we can be certain of is we will have a crack, GO STRAYA.

15 mins in and a great start by Australia. They haven't let the Dutch settle.

What a great first half from us. We have had some great chances and have had lots of possession. Cahill's goal the highlight. The Dutch are under pressure.

Great first half by Australia. Certainly didn't see that coming. Australia are controlling the midfield.

How do you see the 2nd half playing out?

Australia all over the Dutch. What a goal from Cahill! We need to make the most of our opportunities this half.

We need to tighten up in defence. The Dutch are starting to pick up.

Thoughts on the match? Thought we were very good. Had our chances and could've won amazingly. The Dutch class was the difference in the end (Robben, Van Persie and co.) We so far certainly haven't disgraced ourselves. Now for another big performance against Spain.

Looks like Spain will be going home early. Casillus has cost them the game again.

Firstly I want to just say how proud I am to be an Australian, what an absolute herculean effort and what a game!

I am so disappointed for the boy's they absolutely deserved to win that game, the chances they created was incredible. The Dutch were completely rattled they played like they truly believed we are inferior and we shook the absolute shit out of them! The goals they got were from our making not their brilliance.

Timmy Cahill for mine is simply the best soccer player we have ever produced, the amount of work he did was incredible and that goal under that pressure running back and hit it that sweet with his wrong foot was amazing. So sad for him that its all over for him. He has had to do it all alone up front just inspirational.

Some of our boys have been amazing Leckie, Davidson were huge. Brescha has been huge at his age.

It's another World Cup that ends in a what could've been. For the team to play this well without nearly our best side on the pitch is massive.

To be without Rogic, Kruse, Williams and Kennedy was just Cruel they can seriously play and we would be in a completely different position then on top of that losing Milligan and Franjic left us with a completely different side, one who is completely out of their depth. But one who just played the game of their lives and all of Australia should congratulate because they were brilliant. Must say Ange is one hell of a Coach.

But Seriously with them boys all playing I have no doubt we would be going through to the next stage and as usual shock the whole world.

Already looking forward to next world cup and this one hasn't finished because we have a very bright future.
