Starc is the best ODI bowler in the world. No doubt about it. On a pitch that every other bowler has struggled to keep the runs down. He is going at 3 an over currently.

Only has 1 wicket but has been exceptional.

Starc is in the hottest of hot form. Some of his stuff is unplayable. In a tournament dominated by batsmen he could be the difference.

If he can find this kind of swing and some control with the red ball he could be the best left arm quick we've seen alongside Wasim. Has every tool.

If he costs them 4 runs an over because he can't back up for 2's and 3's it makes some of his boundary hitting redundant, I would have made the same call if I were Matthews.

I get what you mean but when a batsmen is hot let him go. Especially when the injury he is carrying is likely to seize up and prevent him carrying on as soon as it cools down so it would prevent him from carrying on even if he wanted to.

For mine Sri Lanka was every chance while he was out there. That chance fell away as soon as he left the pitch.

It would have been a tense dressing room when Matthews walked in five minutes after him.

I liked Stare from the first time I saw him. it was for the PMs eleven or the Australia A in a one day match.

Very tough situation for Mortaza, bringing himself and Rubel back on in the middle overs and grabbing those wickets got them into the game, unfortunately he probably fired all his bullets in doing so. They lack another quality quick

He wont get it but Mashrafe Mortaza should be man of the match. He took key scalps and kept the quicks on through the middle knowing he wouldn't have much left at the end because it was his only wicket taking opportunity. It was a big gamble but wow has it paid off.

Interesting cricketer Mortaza, they showed some footage of the absolute mattress he bowls with strapped around his knee. He's a lion-hearted character to survive as much injury as he has.
