It's hard to understand. One minute they are lowballing Acres and Logue, next minute they don't need to trade Lobb and can somehow afford to bring in O'Meara who would have to be on reasonable dollars.

I think this is the reason Acres management was so upset. They KNEW Freo had sufficient salary cap room...they just had no inclination to use any of it on a contract for Blake.

Very odd decision, he wasn't in their top 10 at the B and F though so maybe internally they just don't rate him.

I think this is the reason Acres management was so upset. They KNEW Freo had sufficient salary cap room...they just had no inclination to use any of it on a contract for Blake.

They use a very different model to assess players but its working for them.
