With 4 years on the table from the Orange team the Crows must have blown them away for $$$ considering there didn't seem to be any other reason for Peatling to leave.

So with Peatling choosing Crows, and I agree it makes XOH much harder to pry out...does it make it less likely that we agree to trade Macrae and Daniel? Or does it just make Garcia/JJ more valuable?

I'm inclined to think that Macrae leaves regardless but I feel now that Daniel stays, Garcia takes the new contract and JJ gets another year.

Let?s face it midway through the year if Peatling had of nominated us we would have been like who us this guy? Don?t want him. Suddenly he becomes trade target # 1. We don?t land him and now we are not a destination club.

Sure it is disappointing but it ain?t the end of the world. We will rise and find ways to attract quality players in the future. We are in way better shape list wise and club wise then a lot of other teams.
