As a free agent and minimum wage he is a good back up, honest and has experience.
Could also pass it on to kids coming up in the VFL.
A good deal if your salary cap is under the pump.

Yeah, I actually don't mind Tomlinson. Whilst not strong 1:1, he is a bigger body and not as easily pushed aside as some of our KPDs. He can take an intercept mark and disposal is pretty good I think. Depends on how ready we think Buss is I guess.

I find these type of additions so difficult to assess without knowing contract worth.

Joe Richards has formally requested a trade from Collingwood to Port Adelaide.

This likely will increase Garcia's likelihood of now taking up our two year contract offer.

Brisbane’s Harry Sharp is open to discussing an opportunity elsewhere should one present this trade period.
Was an emergency for the Lions on Grand Final day.
But is also contracted at the Lions for 2025 and will return should nothing arise

I don't know much about him. 21yo. From Lions website:

”Known for his running capacity when he was first drafted, Harry Sharp has continued to develop and show more of his potential since his debut in 2021. After playing seven AFL games, Sharp broke his goal scoring duck against Carlton in Round 8, 2023 booting his first career major. A classy winger, Sharp was consistent at VFL level last year with his ball use and outside run proving difficult for oppositions to match up on. A player who has been highlighted as one to watch this preseason, Sharp will be looking for a big 2024."

His VFL and AFL numbers this year aren't particularly eye catching. I watched one match highlights and he kicked some goals but almost looked to be playing more small forward than wing?

Must admit it’s a bit hard to get into that Brisbane side with the forwards they have , Cameron, Louman , even Raynor . It’s a side loaded with classy small forwards .

Port Adelaide have been chasing Joe Richards since before the season ended.

I would think we upped our offer to match other clubs offers.

Who has said they have stopped? I'm sure their offer is still on the table but their priority was always Richards before Garcia. If they missed Richards they might have gone harder at Garcia and upped their offer. Hopefully ours is now the best option for him and he takes the 3 years.

Carlton offering a future 1st & future 2nd for Suns' pick 13.

John Noble ha to be the most overrated player of this trade period. That trade would still effectively be pick 23 for foot soldier Noble.

Pick 6 being on the table for Dan Rioli is also blowing me away.

Meanwhile Neal-Bullen, who is just about the most valuable tradee in terms of role, was only pick 28.

It's a crazy world. I wish one of our guys wanted to go to Gold Coast.
