if he decides to retire and move on that’s ok , let’s face it at 17or 18 you don’t actually know what you will be happy doing down the track. If he was to go to another club then that’s an issue.
I could be totally wrong but I honestly don’t think he would be chasing money. I think he would like more money (like all of us) but to me he just feels like a guy who wants mates and I think we have plenty of them starting with Naughts and Bont.
    BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

That appears to be a grossly unfair statement. The vast majority of the discussions have been fine, In your self-imposed hiatus perhaps read some of the discussions elsewhere.

Challenge for Jamarra is to work out how he wants to live his life. He would get more support than most for that.

Challenge for the club is to win games of football. Need to put the best team on the park. At his best Jamarra is there. But if he is not we can still put a very good team on the park.

      Nothing to see here

Not a massive fan of Sam Edmund but I think he broke the story well it one of the few occasions that the media have shown restraint .

            OK carry on.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Feel free to report posts you don't think meet the standards and by all means contact me directly if you have some suggestions on what we can or should be doing better.
I've gone through every contribution in this thread and I don't get the eating your own new level reference.

I get your frustration, but I disagree. You can have different rules for different players, at least to a point.

players are all very different and indigenous players come from a very different cultural background. Social, Economic, Cultural all play a part. Treating Marra like Bont or Naughton is setting him up to fail.

The behaviour's indicated are not great, but he will not be the only one on the list with some or more of these issues. The club needs to be supportive. He needs time and encouragement.

I'm honestly surprised the media has sat on this one as long as they did, it's been known for a while from anyone who attends anything Dogs related that JUH was having some issues.

I'm also sick of these issues seemingly popping up every pre-season, Dunkley, Hunter, Smith, and now JUH, not sure what needs to change down at the club but a single pre-season without a media circus would be great. Let the club and the poor guy work through these issues, whatever they are, any talk about ''maximizing trade value'' is woefully early and I also feel, a bit out of touch, they are human's before they are footballers, embrace and support and trust the club knows the right thing to do, they have been working with him since he was 14, they'll know the in's and out's of his life infinitely more than any pundit or journo.

Just hope it doesn't affect the rest of the squad too much.

This is a strange conclusion but I guess you have your reasons so respect.
I'm also on BF and FB and the comments on here are more than level headed in any comparison.
On BF they didn't really encourage talk about Marra but it still happened and some not so kind comments were made.
A lot of the comments on FB weren't very kind either and they are often overly confronting and emotional.
I don't in the slightest get an eating their own vibe on here but your call.

He's a 22 year old man and a high profile and talented footballer and the odds are that he is bound to have some challenges along the way.
I'd say he has a high level of support and love heading his way.

I understand where a couple of posters are coming from as there is a personal connection which makes this a hell of a lot more real.

I am mindful of that when posting but I sometimes fall into the frustration and venting trap.

More of an In Bruges guy?

On BF the mods were trying to curb the unsubstantiated rumors where people were passing speculation off as fact. There was no attempt to curb discussion of Marra. However, the mods must limit or eliminate baseless slander, racism and malicious posting about players.

After last years awful pre season with Bailey Smith doing his knee, then a whole season of speculation and drama about his behaviour and his future, this is just so disappointing.
What a crap way to start the season before the season's even started. I really hope this doesn't blow up into a bigger thing, and last all year long, before we lose him to another club for a fraction of his value.......... not again............ please no...... And JUH of all people. The number 1 pick.....

You have been a member for 17 years and have made more than 13K of post contributions so surely you can see with this one line the irony about you suggesting anyone is eating their own.
