Yes it's really positive. I do think our club looks after it's players and tries to support them as much as possible. It's one of Bevos strengths how hard he goes to protect his players. Here's hoping Jamara is kicking goals for us in the not too distant future

The extra positive in this is he hopefully builds some relationships with the VFL boys, which might see him much more comfortable and have him pulling the socks on for them sooner rather than later as he moves to full fitness.

Great to read this - nice to know we have an indigenous programme manager. I am confident they will get Marra back on track.

Ugle-Hagan took a step towards a return on Monday night by training with Footscray at Mission Whitten Oval for the first time. The 22-year-old wasn't picked for the Indigenous All-Stars game and won't feature in the Bulldogs' practice matches against Essendon and Hawthorn this month. He isn't expected to be available for selection in the early rounds of the season.

"Jamarra's wellbeing is our No.1 priority and no timeframe is in place around returning to regular training or games at the moment," Power said. "He has continued to take positive steps while completing his program. Given players and staff have been on the Sunshine Coast for our annual training camp, Jamarra remained in Melbourne and has been training with the VFL program. Several staff members remained in Victoria to support that program and Jamarra." ---

Jamarra needs to be around people with like minded interest , around an environment he is familiar with , and friends he can relate to . Training with guys his own age can only help , because sometimes just doing things you miss helps no end , and allows the mind to get back onto a path that is calming and beneficial to your mental health , heres hoping Jamarra is slowly turning the corner to good health and enjoying life again .

Thanks BAD for quoting Hotdog 60’s post & Thanks HD60 for initial post.

It’s comforting as BAD noted that we know there are different roles/support people in place and that there’s regular contact & meetings.

What was source? Couldn’t seem to find it in AFL link provided, nor on WB website.

Troubled Bulldog to take positive step with All Stars role

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has been encouraged to accept an invitation to be part of the wider Indigenous All Stars squad

JAMARRA Ugle-Hagan is expected to embrace a non-playing role with the Indigenous All Stars team which will play Fremantle in Perth on Saturday.

The decision to join the squad would be another positive step in the Western Bulldogs forward's staggered return to elite level after personal issues had severely disrupted his 2025 pre-season.

It is believed the Bulldogs' football department and those closest to the No.1 pick in the 2020 national draft have encouraged him to accept an invitation to be part of the wider squad, convinced of big gains attached to being immersed with mentors and friends within the group.

Had he been available for selection, Ugle-Hagan would have been one of the first chosen for the Indigenous All Stars, which will play the Dockers at Optus Stadium at 4.30pm local time (7.30pm AEDT) on Saturday.

Ugle-Hagan missed most of the Bulldogs' pre-season sessions and did not attend a recent training camp in Noosa.

Last week he trained with the Bulldogs' VFL team.

I can't find it on Code Sports but he said he was going well but there was no timeline with the return for Marra and that there are other things that are more important than football. The focus is on his health and wellness.
If I see it later I'll post it.
