    Sam Power on Jamarra
Have you reached a moment of intervention with Jamarra?
    - We are working through some challenges with Jamarra, his management and his family
    - It's not about his training it's more about support.
    - They are not necessarily new challenges and we are focused on the medium to long term.,
    - Welfare is the priority
    - We aren't putting a time frame on a likely return to training
    - We are hopeful he will play a significant role with us during the season
    - The players are supportive
    - He's behind with conditioning due to the flexible training arrangement
    - We are hopeful he plays a significant role this season
    - He needs access to the right support.

We just need to let time do it's thing.

His health is all that matters, so a future where he is happy and contributing is what we should all be hoping for.

I think it's time to stop speculating and move on and when he's back, he's back.

The questions will still come from time to time given he has been active on his social media accounts.

Power gave very limited details which is 100% the right this to do but the fact the club agreed to get on the front foot to explain why he isn't attending the camp indicates they feel a need to keep our supporters informed.
I think all of us are resigned to the notion we won't see and hear much from the club about Marra going forward and it will only change when he fronts up to training again.
Support is the key and it will resolve itself in time.

They might need to be more unequivocal in their statements. Eg he will be away indefinitely dealing with personal matters.
The questions will still come that is true.

Sounds like a difficult time for all involved.

Sam played the ultimate straight bat defence as his want when dealing with the media.

He told us absolutely nothing we don't already know.

100%. Sam put on a clinic of saying a lot whilst saying absolutely nothing.
I think he is ready for the Football Director role or maybe the seat of Maribyrnong.

Hopefully he can figure things out soon because we desperately need him playing footy.

I think Gerard Wheatley referred to the week before the Elimination final and what transpired on the field

Gerard is a pretty low human.

Did he mention he kicked 40+ goals?

More importantly we need Jamarra to be healthy for himself, footy is just his job atm.

If the Bali stuff is true, the club really need to take some responsibility for playing Marra in the Elim final and accept how that undermines all values they set around professionalism, integrity of selection etc, etc. It takes years to build that level of trust in a program.
Hopefully, they have put their hand up and made that a theme for the pre-season, if not, those cracks will start to appear in the 2025 season.

I cannot be sure he mentioned it as I was distracted at the time.

                          Hopefully someone can clarify.

Anyway i do think media knows more but instruction has been they wont dictate anything with regards to JUH

If True: I don't care whether it is Bali, Gold Coast or Altona Beach I think the point is, you need to let the club know and adhere to Club rules.

And if failing to do so, should you be eligible for selection?

It always depends on the circumstances. But if it is clear and deliberate breach and you miss a critical training session, no you should not be eligible.
