Just a bit of an update, 30 new members have joined so far this month. Some are rejoining again as they were either inactive with their contributions or didn't respond to the welcome message I send.
Only three members are what I would say are active contributors but in fairness some have only just joined in the last 2 days so I need to give them some more time.
Only about 10 have responded to the welcome message and a similar number have introduced themselves on the new members thread..
Hopefully we can build up the numbers of contributors.

That's a great sign that the new format is attractive to people (and also that your training content is very appealing). It's a tricky time of year to be contributing but hopefully you will get a better gauge on traffic through late Jan and Feb as we ramp up to the season.

One of the request I had from Squirrel Grip was if it was possible to have the Hyde Streets Band And Sports Bar boards removed for him and the answer is yes.
I can set-up a usergroup with a limited or reduced access to what you would normally see on WOOF.
I'll have a look doing something like that for Squirrel Grip over the weekend.
If anyone would prefer that option as well please send me a private message or ask for it on this thread.
It's a bit more complicated (but still an option) to isolate specific Footy boards as they are all under one board or channel.

I've got a list of things people suggested since the migration from old to new so I'll keep chipping away at it.
Feel free to share your thoughts and to see if we can find a better solution for you.
I realise that for some people this has been a big change so I might try and set-up a word document with some how to tips and screen shots that can be shared.
Thank you, I appreciate everything you are doing for us.

Not sure it's a big deal or if it's been mentioned already but I think I'd prefer the "post reply" button to be the first of the three options on the left of the other two. Same with "save" after editing.

While I'm at it, the thumbs up emoji would work really well as the first option on the left as well!

Drop everything GVGjnr and make it happen!

Let me see if it's possible I've recently joined a VBulletin forum and one to the main programmers is on there. Seems keen enough to answer questions

You’re cheating on us with another forum. Here I was sitting at home thinking we had something special.

I'm not scared to admit I might need some help with the new VB6 software.

G, what's the story with the stars under usernames? Is it reflective of recent posting frequency?
I've worked my way up from one star to five stars and need to know why!

It's a bit of nonsense and a real legacy of old VB versions. Yes it's something to do with posting frequency over a shorter time period and from what I can tell perhaps how many positive reactions members might receive.
I'm going to have a look at switching that off.

                      Here is the definition

Reputation is a way of rating users depending on the quality of their posts. If the administrators have enabled reputation, then the like icon will be visible in posts.

You can build your reputation on the site by posting informative and constructive content. This in turn will encourage people to follow your posts, press the like button on different posts and they could even subscribe to your content

From my perspective it's not required.

Oi oi oi don't tarnish my positive reputation!

I'm a very outcome driven person and I think it would seriously be a reminder to post more, if I saw my stars dropping away...I wouldn't be so quick to turn it off.

Great stuff GVjr . I am finding it a little difficult to adjust , a bit like going from Samsung to iPhone but I will get there.
The old set up was around for years and it’s a whole new world.

Same. Everything just seems 'harder' right now and as someone who never really looks at this site from my mobile I am kind of in the 'why are we changing everything' camp...
It'll be fine in a few weeks I'm sure.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.
