Me too. But only at times. Other times it is a quick as the earlier version.

      I mean I still hit 6 stars but I could've had 8 by now.
      What is the star rating?

I noticed that we hit our most ever users this morning of over 7,000 and have around 6,000 as I type this. I am assuming a heap of bots or something - could this be slowing down the site?

Yep I’m finding that as well. Teething issues Gary will do the best to rectify them.

            Nice pick up Axe.
I've asked that question, we used to have 400 to 600 bots but now it's 5K+ I should know more tomorrow. It shouldn't much of a difference but it might.

Not having a new topics button on screen is pretty annoying, it's there on desk top but not on my phone.

Might be worth looking at IP filtering. Not sure if that's an extra outlay though.

For everyone wondering if actually costs real money to get this site resourced.

G won't say anything but personally I'm happy to contribute something to share the load.

That's what I do too. It is taking some getting used to that not as many threads are listed in one 'screen view', and I am making sure to scroll down and check the next few as well.

I've been having the same frustration with speed but hopefully it's just a teething issue. I found old woof was one of my most reliable fast websites, presumably because it had such a small amount of data to download.

I can tell you the 'stay logged in' part is working perfectly.
I would suggest that if you are using both a mobile phone and a desktop/laptop or tablet etc then you need to tick the 'remember me' option on both the phone and the other device.
From my experience it's not as intuitive on the phone ie a bit harder to see it clearly but it does keep you logged in when that option is selected correctly.
Just an update on the staying logged in. I've now realised that whenever I come back to the site, it shows me as logged out but as soon as I click on a forum link, it shows me as logged in. Not sure what's going on but I do actually seem to be logged in. Weird.

It might have something to do with the saved link on my browser that I am using to come back to the website. Maybe its a historic link where I'm "logged out".

Anyway it does look like it's working in the end.

Yeah I had this too, but if you replace your bookmark or link with a new one that will no longer happen.

Yeah, it's different on my desktop though.

Same. I think there's different UIs between the versions.
You could put your mobile browser into desktop mode and you'd get the same experience. Things might be a little smaller though.

Nah, even the mobile browser into desktop mode doesnt come up like that. Only on the desk top computer.
