Re: 2018 Draft Watch
The thing that concerns me about Hatley is:
Weaknesses:
Decision making under pressure
Prone to rushing disposal and not lowering his eyes
Lacking hurt-factor
All the things our current mids have as weaknesses.
I'd love Smith, Walsh or Rankine but feel they will be off the board by our pick (which i'm predicting will be 6)
Collier-Dawkins is one i'm keeping an eye on. He's been too inconsistent lately but has all the skills we need. If he can finish strongly he might come into top 10 consideration.Comment

Happy to see McFayden right up the order, I really rate him
His inside 50 entries were rolled gold, we could use someone like that. Local boy, highly touted for his leadership qualities.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

Yep, I'm the same. Hope we don't go tall as we have more pressing areas of need. The curse is dead.Comment

Re: 2018 Draft Watch
Any mid we get with pick 5 is likely to start forward anyway so we should get an immediate injection of class forward of the ball which we desperately need.
The guys in contention for our pick (Rankine, Smith, Hately, Rozee, Taylor) can all hit the scoreboard.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

Re: 2018 Draft Watch
I don’t want a KPP, and if we let Rankine slip by our pick I’ll literally throw a brick thru the TV.
Like Bornadog said...either Rankine, a josh Kelly type or a very quick classy fwd.I will never see #16 the same!!Comment

I was thinking the same re Hatley. He could become a very good player but we have his typed covered already. We need x factor, we need to take a risk I'm still hopeful Rozee has a solid end to the year and he tests well also. His type is exactly what we need.Comment
Otherwise a small goal kicker would do.
