I wish we had a pick in the 10-20 range as I would like one of RCD, Butters or Stocker to go along with King/Smith/Caldwell and West.

I think you could add Hately, Duursma and O'Halloran as well to that list.

I'm not quite as bullish with RCD but acknowledge he probably has a point of difference to most other midfield players.

Saw the clip of Blakey on the draft machine. Might just be me but he reminds me of Jared Brennan, minus the one handed pickups.

His best looks very good but for some reason I don't have him in the top 10. Seems to get injured during games which I think distracts me from viewing him in a better light

I was thinking along the same lines, but I think our recruitment team have done well with 7 and 27. With a pick in 10-20 range we will lose it immediately for West (who I rate highly, don't get me wrong) as I believe he will get called well before Pick 20. Pay for West with a 10 - 20 range pick seems to me we are paying overs. 27 with our F/S discount seems about right.

For those having doubts on Jye Caldwell have a look at him.

Good lord!! That movement in traffic, the one handed gathers, the side steps, the disposal out of traffic, though for a second I watching Bont!

Love player highlights filmed over multiple games too. Really like the look of this kid

Bit of Marc Murphy for me. Nice agility and speed, clever movement at the stoppages, neat kick - you'd have to be pretty happy to snag him.

It's being mentioned on BF that at present Rhylee West has not received an invite to the draft. This would mean that he is not in calculation for the top 20 or so picks.

Has anyone come across a conclusive list of who has been invited? I have seen the odd reference to individual players, but no definitive list.

It only really matters if picks 1-10 are there, so don't think it's conclusive of him missing the top 20.

I know they only usually have the Top 10 on stage, but given the different format where they are doing the whole first round as a separate event I am led to believe that they want all of the players that get picked in the first round on the night.

I have seen it mentioned that up to 25 players have actually been invited. Should that be the case it sounds like pretty great news.
