For sure. I think that Lipinski will end up playing a similar role for Collingwood that Bailey Dale has found himself playing for us. Running off the HBF and letting the game open up in front of him.

Collingwood have already said they view him as a mid who can go forward, and the MCG should suit his running capacity.

His pace issues would have his opponent destroy him if he played in defence.

How many players of Wally's quality have been traded this trade period who we've missed out on?

Players who can make our best 22 better, aside from O'Brien who may potentially and we've already landed, just aren't floating around this year.

Yes it's a fair point, and if he wants to stay on there's really no point exploring anything with other clubs.

He will add depth and his values / culture which is great for the club.

Personally I think he's a capable inside mid at some other sides.

Ummmmm. Did every club in the league just conspire to deny us trading in a ruckman?
It's almost like they were taunting us. It was a veritable conga line of ruckmen changing clubs, but we were the dance partner sitting in our lonely chair in the corner with no one asking us to dance.

I think they all know even a half decent ruckman makes us an intimidating premiership threat.
