Love it if the club could get this done. Pick 4 and more to get an end-of-first round back

If we are that interested in Patton then I think the smart move would be to try and and send a player their way. So it would be something like pick 4 and Wood/Tutt for pick 19 and Patton.
I couldn't see GWS parting with with a number 1 pick and pick 19 for pick 4.

We 'might' get him straight up for pick four...might.

Would you do:

Patton, Docherty and Crameri

For:

Wood, Higgins, Scharenberg and Marsh

For mine: Higgins for Crameri is in our favour just based on injuries. Docherty for Marsh is in our favour just. Scharenberg and Wood for Patton is top dollar, high risk, but could be genius...

Very complicated. You have 3 sides involved and are offering two of our players and I'm guessing our first 2 picks. You are hoping like hell that 5 players all agree.

I would be happy with losing pick 4 and 22 and ending up with Patton and Crameri, as long we tried to get back into the draft with a trade or two of our own.

Yeah, tough ask.

The Crameri talk is so strong I can't not include his name. And Docherty and Patton are so good we'd be mad not to seriously go after them. All 3 would be a remote chance, but I see continued improvement with a gorilla power forward, a very smart mid size forward and a rebounding HBF.

After the Rhode era I'm very hesitant in trading top picks, but Scharenberg (HBF), Marsh (tall forward, not KPF) and Higgins (and Wood if required) for Docherty (proven HBF), Patton (KPF) and Crameri leading goal kicker at a strong club is at worst equal, at best a win.

Another tall defender would be good, but no way we trade for 4 players. I'd hope we can scrounge another all defender from our developing players.

You'd do Crameri for Higgins every day of the week, especially if Higgo wants a fresh start and it meant keeping pick 22.

Not keen on trading out 22 and Wood for Docherty. Would prefer to try and deal with GWS for the compo pick or just use pick 22 for the best available. Still plenty of talent left at that pick.

If we could nab Patton, Crameri and keep our second pick, Jason McCartney is officially a genius.

Not keen on trading out 22 and Wood for Docherty. Would prefer to try and deal with GWS for the compo pick or just use pick 22 for the best available. Still plenty of talent left at that pick.

If Wood isn't used on Docherty, I would have him in reserve for Patton. Maybe (if required) something like pick 4 & 22 and Wood for Patton and 19

I almost posted this last week but thought I would cop too much for it.

If Freo get close, but don't quite get there, or decide to replace Pav... If they offered pick 17 and a decent tall (say Silvagni) for Jones....

How bad was his effort on Jetta? Put in a one arm job then fell over when Jetta got past him. I like his run and carry but I'm not sure he'd fit Macca's defensive ethos.
