Box Hill have Schoenmakers, Sewell and Rioli added to last weeks side.

We have named Markovic, but I couldn't really see him getting a run. He just looks so unfit.

I see some value in Redpath spending time down back as he was certainly getting in the way of Jones last week and we do need additional height to combat Grimley and McEvoy.

Nic Lower named could be important if he is actually right to go.

There should be a rule whereby if both the VFL teams are aligned with AFL teams, a set number of listed players can play. I understand the whole "Hawthorn are still in AFL finals" but it's clearly an unfair advantage at this point.

Disagree, if we're wanting this venture as a development tool there's no better test than against quality.

Just get the VFL listed boys to make the AFL Box Hill players earn every kick the old fashion way and see if it was a good move putting those that shouldn't be playing in the side. Finals footy play to win.

Box Hill have some well known AFL players, but if they were fit and in form they would be playing at AFL level.

We have about 15 of our side who have played AFL level THIS YEAR.

They should be worried about us.

Just re the McEvoy thing, could someone please explain to me: if the rule is the VFL team can pick whoever they like as long as the AFL side is still playing, why did the Hawks need to get special dispensation for McEvoy to play?
Are there two rules that conflict with each other, or what? I'm confused.
