        It was because the AFL Hawks had earned the week off. I.e. Hawthorn were not playing that weekend, which technically ruled Mcevoy out.

            Oh, okay. Seems slightly dumb though, if the rule applies while the other team are still in the competition? Or is it to stop Box Hill playing the whole Hawthorn seniors team… that makes sense I guess…

                                More fans in red, white and blue streaming in at the moment than some of our Western Bulldog home games. For some reason Sunday football isn't a problem this week for our fans
