Finished Yellowstone. I liked it well enough and recommend it. Amazing scenery at the very least.

One thing that bothers me about so many shows these days is despite all the money being poured into them, characters STILL consistently do things that make me go "as if". Just total behavioural inconsistencies to advance a plot line.

Cobra Kai was an easy watch, I'm confused as to whether it's supposed to be ironic, humourous, cynical or serious. I literally don't know. It kind of reminds me of the time I got hooked on Suits for a few weeks because I couldn't figure out if it was high brow comedy that I didn't understand.
I have heard good things about Cobra Kai. I am interested.

Ted Lasso. It's an Apple TV series. Absolutely fantastic.

I can’t believe that it’s as good as it is.

Sudeikis is a decent operator. Former SNL writer and cast member.
          He's really nailed this series.

Add me to the list. Like HD, I cannot believe how good it is.

            Lasso is just so likeable.

Goddamn. Based on you guys I just binge watched 4 eps of Ted Lasso. It’s so much better than the premise and tropes should allow.

Yep. It makes no sense for it to be this good.

It’s so rote on so many levels but the heart in it just pours out.

For any eighties kids who viewed the Challenger disaster as a life defining moment then Netflix has a solid four piece series of the human and mechanical issues that led to the catastrophe.

It's a relatively commercial recap, but well produced and really hits the strings when it comes to a country that used to be great, used to try to be great, and used to want to be great.
                      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Is the normalisation of deviance guy on it? Because that's one of the best lectures I've seen.

I watched The Social Dilemma with my 13 year old daughter.
Most of it was stuff I already knew to a degree, but to have it laid out that starkly is alarming. It’s well made and entertaining enough too. It should be compulsory viewing for all teens but also anyone over 45 with a Facebook account.

Social media is a scourge but I did find it funny that Netflix produced the doco. It's like a cocain dealer telling you how bad heroin is.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

The psychological effects social media is having on young and old is scary. I'm well aware of it but this doco makes the point so clearly. People have become so narcissistic, extremely risk-adverse and sensitive and hollow. People are craving for likes and attention that has zero meaning, only to get some that then encourages repeated behaviour. Then you have the terrifying issues of polarisation and manipulation that is done ever so subtly that the masses don't realise. It's a scary future if nothing is done.
