best place in Melbourne for breakfast is Auction Rooms in Errol Street North Melbourne. Best coffee I've had & food is exceptional & just a really cool place to go. Be prepared to wait to get a table as its packed every weekend. I only ever go during the week now when i have a day off.

Had lunch in the city yesterday at Taiwan Cafe. One of the best lunches I have enjoyed in many a long time. Authentic Taiwanese street style hawker food.

I'm not too bad either but not in her class.

I went there last night before the game and I must say I was disappointed. Too much sauce on the steak and black bean sauce, also they forgot our order of rice.
I went to Poons early in the year and enjoyed it more.

                        I had lunch there today.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Packed house and the food was lovely. The ambiance was good and staff friendly.

My friend had homemade sausage roll and salad. Said it was delicious - home made tom sauce was yummy.

I had the poached eggs on sourdough. Yummy. Not fancy food but well cooked (eggs are hard to get right) and tasty.

The coffee was just so nice

We are already planning our next visit.

Piraeus Blues in Fitzroy. For anyone that loves their Greek food.

Has anyone been to Snitz in Knox City? Haven't been there but for anyone that has what did you think of it.

Schnitz are all over the place now. They have the best chips going around IMO, and their schnitzel wraps are pretty good.

It will be interesting to see as more franchises open up whether they can maintain quality.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Noticed yesterday that a Schnitz has opened in Fountain Gate, haven't heard of them previously, will have to try.

Thanks jeemak. Sounds like Snitz is quite good. When I go down to Knox again ill be sure to try it out.
