It's actually on 3rd March but hubby will be at the Clipsal 500 so we have to postpone it by a week or so. After 12 years it doesn't matter that we're in different states on the day.

I am coming up for 33 years - so doesn't matter if we are on the otherside of the planet

Just for a quick lunch, if you like your Japanese Curry, try Hanaichi [QV Square
cnr Swanston and Lonsdale street], have quite a few up here in Brisbane but that's the only one i know in Melbourne, cheap and very nice, right next door to Max Brenner as well.

                Here is the website:

Also one on Glenhuntly Road in Caulfield South

                Is this an American franchise?

How long in Australia has it been around?

A historic corner pub on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy | Open seven days, midday until late.

The Builders Arms on Gertrude st Fitzroy

They have a huge fire out the back that runs two huge roast meats on rotisserie for about 8 hors during the day ready for evening diners which looks amazing.

I have only been here a couple of times and each time ordered the 450gm sirloin. The place is pricey but that would have to be just about the best steak I have ever eaten.

                      Need a recommendation please Woofers.

Somewhere to eat pre-game this week.

                      -Close distance to Etihad
-Not budget but not overly pricey.
                      -Accepting of football supporters.
                      -Good food a must.

I can recommend the Nixon. Food is good. You can book in their dinning room and you get table service.

                              Thought you would have.

Book in their dinning room part and it will be OK.

They've been open a year or so in Glenhuntly Road.

Bit expensive, to be fair but they caught the wave nice and early and will probably get a franchise going I'd have thought.
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
