Hey guys just looking for some recommendations for dinner on Sunday night.

Background - wedding anniversary dinner. Going to the footy on Sunday, staying at Crown and have a comedy festival show at 7:30pm at the Town Hall. Looking for something fairly quick but nice for dinner between Crown and the Town Hall. Open to most types of cuisine.

Sake on Southbank is very good, especially if you have limited time. Asian food, mainly Japanese fusion.

If you're an old grump like me and will only go to places that take bookings, Coda in Flinders Lane is really nice. They describe themselves as "French - Vietnamese or Modern Asian". I dunno, they're tasty.

Last week, I went next door to Lucy Lui, fantastic Asian food. Have heard good things about Cody as well and will try it soon - good suggestion.

Flinders Lane has some great Asian places now - you can add on Kisume, Supernormal, Lee Ho Fook, Chin Chin to the couple of good Italian restaurants as well.

Thanks everyone, ended up going to Lucy Liu.

Food was good and quick and we got in and out in plenty of time to make it to the comedy festival show. Although to be fair after coming from the footy any food that didn't cause explosive diarrhea was going to be an improvement on my day to that point.

Booked, didn't want to risk running out of time before the show. Had to book for 5pm, which was a bit earlier than we would have liked but it all came together in the end.

Had a good evening out with the family and Eleni's Kitchen + Bar in Yarraville.
