Buttons for instance, I'll bet one of the characters are wearing buttons even though they weren't invented until the 1300s. Left and right footed shoes didn't come along again (The Romans had them and then we forgot how to make them apparently. It's something to do with the heels) until the 1600s
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Right, but in your extensive research of the Song of Ice and Fire books have you found evidence that these things don't exist?

Anyone watchung GOT on Foxtel? I have a quick question, does Foxtel have as a follow up with "Inside the Episode"? It is normally only 5 minutes talking about the episode with the producers/writers? There is also another show that shows how the episode was made.

Very fascinating how the episodes are made?

I don't watch the show but the reviews are getting worse with each episode - the most recent episode has gotten its worst Rotten Tomatoes score of the entire show's run.

                        Are the critics right?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I saw IMDB was lower too. SPOILER below:

They took the hero and turned her into a mega, mega mass murdering villain tyrant in about 40 minutes. Which is going to be very polarising to many who want a fairy tale ending. I really liked the episode personally.

Rotten Tomatoes is BS to be honest, but I can see how people may dislike it.

I think this was always going to happen because people have invested so much into it over 8 odd years and then it has to wrap all
in 6 episodes. It's never easy to end a series the right way, so many great shows have fallen a little flat at the end. You are expecting them to be bigger and better each time but reality is that the wind up is often the least satisfying for a viewer.

Personally I think the season has been pretty good, and i'm a massive fan. There are aspect I've disliked for sure, but there has been some really good stuff as well.

In hindsight I guess they have been sowing the seeds of Dany becoming a mad Queen for a long time but the actual point when it occurs it does feel like it happened rather quickly. I can't see how someone who was so hell bent on freeing slaves could suddenly do what she did because of one action. If anything she should be stronger in her resolve through the sum of her experiences, but I guess it makes for an interesting story line.

Arya's story line is the most confusing but I guess we don't have all the answers there just yet. I was sure we were going to see her use Jamie's face to get closer to Cersei or something but that was a dead end.
There must be a twist or a point to the whole faceless men thing. Why introduce something like being able to be anyone by wearing their face if it's not going to be a major part of the end game. There has to be something in the last episode or what was the point of all of that particular aspect.

                              I agree with you.

As I mentioned above, if you watch the after show about the episode they explain things about the characters and what the producers and writers were thinking.

Having said that, Dany went a little too far.
