Cubbies doing alright. Look like forcing it to a decider.

I'm not much of a baseball historian but how often does a club come from behind to win the last 3 matches, including the last 2 on the road to win the world series?

Hell of a way to do it if it happens

I heard on the radio that only 1 team in the last 15 WS has come from 1-2 down after 3 games to win the Series.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

With so many teams World wide breaking long droughts or having first major wins, If I've learnt anything this year its history counts for very little.

This is it. We'll know tomorrow by this time if I will be a supporter of a Premiership team and a World Series Championship team in the same year(century?).

It'll be difficult to be watching Game 7 thinking my 90 year old mum, didn't live to see the day. Four and a half months short.

And this is why sports can be so great. The whole bulldogs mantra of "why not us?" Seriously, since we won the flag, my outlook on things has improved. I'm quite a bit more optimistic now. I do think "why can't X happen?"

Just need to figure out Kluber. Hopefully hitters are finding some form after today

Extra spring in the step stuff and a big change from saying "hopefully next year will be our year" to a very confident, "we won it this year and we are a huge chance to again for a few years to come.".

By the bye, a very happy one month anniversary to all for yesterday.

Last team to do it was the Pittsburg Pirates in 79

I'm hoping the Cubs do it but not confident. Cubs looking a lot better at the plate but Klubber is a much tougher prospect than Bauer & Tomlin but it's their 3rd look at him so you would hope they have some plans for him. They need to lead by the 5th or I can't see them winning. Miller is just so tough so if he comes in with a lead the Cubs are done.

I'm at home tomorrow so can watch this live, can't wait!

Indians batting gets the Cubs pitcher in trouble again. Lucky to get out of it with just 1 run against them in the 3rd.

Cubs batting getting plenty of good looks, but keep hitting in the air. Kluber is looking vulnerable.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
